Vintage Patterns

Patterns from the past, recreated for instant download

The  patterns listed on this page are in the public domain.  Some of the cloth doll patterns, aprons and traditional quilt patterns have been handed down in my family through each generation, others come from books, magazines and other publications from the  early 1900's and before.

When you purchase a public domain pattern you have permission to make as many items as you choose from the pattern.  You may print out the pattern for your personal use.  You may sell items that you make with these patterns without restriction.  You may not resell my interpretation of the pattern or make copies to give away.  However, if you find the original source of the patterns you may reproduce the pattern in any form you choose.

See my article on Public Domain here.

Patterns

Boys Russian Suit - This suit from the early 1900's makes up into a darling outfit for a toddler boy or a boy doll.  I particularly like the technique on the sleeves, and the detailing of the top stitching on the coat.

Because the instructions are limited this pattern requires advanced sewing skills.  An experienced sewer will be able to create this  outfit.  Beginners may find this somewhat challenging.

This pattern and partial instructions are taken from my collection of vintage and antique publications.    I make no warranty as to the accuracy of the fit of pattern pieces or the sewing instructions. The layout diagram is given as a general indication of the pattern pieces.  The pieces will need to be enlarged and sized appropriately for your individual project

Infant Veil or Shawl

This is a simple crochet pattern, easy for beginners and fun for more experienced needle artists.  The pattern and instructions are taken from my collection of vintage and antique publications.  I have reproduced the pattern information exactly as written.  I make no warranty as to the accuracy or fit of the pattern or the pattern instructions.

Purchase this pattern for $2.95
